Local Area

The property enjoys an idyllic rural location on the edge of the Wolds, yet is only a few miles from the village of Wragby and its many facilities. The rolling Lincolnshire Wolds are less than 7 miles away and the country walks are fabulous.

We have been driving from London every weekend for 10 years and it’s an easy drive of about 130 miles from north London. The traffic on the A1 on Friday and Sunday nights is mysteriously, but thankfully, light.

Horse riding is available nearby, there are two golf clubs within half an hour's drive and there’s plenty of decent fishing in local lakes and on the River Witham. Market Rasen and its racecourse lie 12 miles to the north, whilst the spa town of Woodhall spa is close by. The picturesque town of Louth is a pleasant 19 mile drive across the Wolds. The coast is less than an hour’s drive.

The roman city of Lincoln is a short drive away. There are direct high speed trains to London.
